Open Access Policy
Articles published in RhM will be made publicly available on the journal’s website two years after the publication of each volume. During the preceding embargo period of 24 months the rights remain with the publisher; authors are only permitted to use the pdf versions of their articles for private use. Uploading these versions on one’s own or other websites is not permitted during this period.
After the end of the embargo period all articles will be publicly available free of charge (open access). In line with the CC-BY-NC-ND licence they can then be used with appropriate bibliographical references to the original source (RhM) and their authors (BY). Commercial use is not permitted (NC); and the texts must not be changed (ND).
Accepted versions of articles can be stored in repositories of scientific institutions (e.g. for evaluation purposes) or submitted in other forms for review (e.g. for applications) prior to publication, as long as these processes do not make the texts publicly available. After publication the rules outlined above apply.
